A Warm Welcome to
The Ecumenical Christian Church
(The All-Embracing Catholic Church)
A warm welcome to the web presence for The Ecumenical Christian Church in the United Kingdom, a constituent body of the United Ecumenical Catholic Church. We are a spiritual home for those seeking a Christian understanding of humanity within a changing society and combine it with a faithful approach to the historic teachings of the Universal, all-embracing Catholic Church.
We are ecumenical and we represent a world-wide Christian Unity. We are quite simply Christian and we walk a gospel driven path. We are a strong and united 'Church, Catholic' and our doors are open to all who seek welcoming and open faith communities. We come from Roman Catholic, Anglican, Fransiscan and Celtic backgrounds. We bring together a richness and purity in our collective mission and individual ministries.

As Ecumenical Christians we are a true universal and all-embracing Catholic Church with male and female clergy running their parish communities in England, Wales and France. We all strive to offer an unrestricted access to the celebration of the sacaraments, bible study, faith works and fellowship. All our clergy have active ministries and thriving communities. We do not 'play' at ceremonial or monastic works - we are working, pastoral, parish priests in every sense with episcopal oversight from our accessible and hands-on bishops. We walk a Christian Socially Responsible path and you are very welcome to join us. We are actively seeking ecumenical faith communities - especially in Scotland and Middle England.
As a group of God's faithful, we are experiencing a great sense of growth with like-minded laity and clergy with a commitment to reach out to all those who feel misplaced, compromised, isolated, rejected and lonely in their faith - for those who feel spiritually and religiously starved - and for all those who simply want something more relevant to their lives, from their church community. We are a church growing strongly within our faith communities doing God's work in many different ways.
We have active ministries we aim to introduce you to throughout our website.
Our bishop has given permission for any Rite of the Eucharist (or other Sacrament) which has been promulgated by any of the greater Churches of East or West to be used according to pastoral needs. Anglican communities approaching us can continue to use the 1928 Book of Common Prayer. Please take a little time to look around our website. Hopefully it will give a small insight into our Ministry and our Mission.
If you would like to attend the UECC Synod in August 2009, just off Jct 9 of the M1, please contact our treasurer Reverend Paul, as availability and places are going quickly. Individual Delegate costs are £120 per head including accommodation and meals for the 3 days. Confirmation will be immediate and a Delegate Pack will be sent to you in July along with travel details for access by road and rail. Further details can be found in our Newsletters over the next few months so please email Reverend Nicola in order to receive these. Please click below.
"The eccuk, it appears to me, is a prophetic sign in this country, and indeed the world, of how the church of Christ could be. I thank you for your dedication and ministries and look forward to seeing lots of growth in your communities. Perhaps I too may seek renewed life there as I heed +Terry's invitation to "focus our wills and minds on discerning what it is that God wants of us in each and every moment of the day and of our lives individually and together."
God bless you in your ministry - Nick
